Sysmex Partec was the first pioneer in flow cytometry (FCM) with a continuous contribution to the development of this cell analysis method since the late 60s of the last century. A large number of patents were established during the long company history. During that time unique product identifiers were generated which are still widely acknowledged within the operator community. The True Volumetric Absolute Counting (TVAC) technology, in particular, is widely recognized for offering many advantages. TVAC enables absolute cell counts with unsurpassed volumetric precision (CV<2%). Modularization and consequently, the possibility for customization of products has been invented by Partec for the FCM world and has nowadays become the benchmark for all other suppliers.

The CyFlow® Cube 6 is a compact benchtop flow cytometer for the analysis of individual cells and microscopic particles. Different CyFlow® Cube 6 configurations to select from offer optimal solutions for dedicated applications. The easy-to-use CyFlow™ software provides control of the instrument,  data acquisition, analysis and storage. CyFlow® Cube 6 offers True Volumetric Absolute Counting (TVAC), which allows the display of particle concentrations for any subsets of cells without the need for reference beads, even if defined by a gate at a later time after the acquisition.

The CyFlow® Cube 8 offers the unique combination of a truly stand-alone system of a small footprint with a modular configuration concept with up to 6 colours. The easy-to-use CyFlow™ software provides control of the instrument, data acquisition, analysis and storage. The possibility of customised instrument settings facilitates switching between different applications. CyFlow® Ploidy Analyser

The CyFlow® Ploidy Analyser is a compact flow cytometer for ploidy analysis, high-resolution DNA and genome size analysis for plants, animals and micro-organisms. This modular system is equipped with a UV LED (365 nm) and/or a green laser (532 nm) which, when used in combination with Partec CyStain® reagents, provides high-resolution DNA analysis with DAPI or propidium iodide. The CyFlow® Ploidy instrument measures the DNA content of many thousands of individual nuclei within seconds or minutes. The result is directly displayed as a DNA histogram on the internal 15.4″ colour display.
This method is time- and cost-saving as it provides precise results quickly with an efficient and validated workflow. For higher throughput, it is possible to equip the system with an Autoloading Station that accepts up to two 96-well plates or 120 test tubes as a single load.

CyFlow® mini POC is the modern adaption of flow cytometry techniques to the most important. step for successful HIV/AIDS therapy initiation: CD4 cell count. From enrolment to follow-up of antiretroviral treatment also in primary healthcare settings.

Description :

The absolute number of CD4+ T-lymphocytes and the CD4% of all lymphocytes are the most widely used parameters for the immune status monitoring of HIV-infected adults and children and AIDS patients undergoing antiretroviral therapy. CD4 and CD4% testing is commonly organized in larger centralized laboratories resulting in a limited availability of this life-saving diagnostic procedure for patients living in remote areas and not being capable to travel to laboratories in larger cities.

The CyFlow® mini POC together with the Partec mini POC CD4% count kit – dry, containing all reagents and con­sumables necessary for measuring patient blood samples, enables the analysis of immune status without high  laboratory infrastructure. The stand-alone instrument with a weight of 6.2 kg can easily be moved close to the patients. The CyFlow® mini POC runs on regular power supplies or on a rechargeable battery pack optionally combined with a solar panel. It is therefore ideally suited as a point-of-care (POC) solution for primary health centers and PMTCT (Prevention of Mother to Child Trans­mission) sites in all settings. The CyFlow® mini POC can successfully be used for high throughput analysis with up to 20 CD4/CD4% tests per hour as well as for small health centers in rural areas, measuring only few blood samples. Employing state-of-the-art laser modules, optics, fluidics and electronics, the total biological range of CD4 absolute counts and CD4% is covered with unmatched precision, accuracy and reproducibility, until today only known from more expensive and large flow cytometers.
